Sassandra region is a coffee – producing area in the southwest part of Cote d’ivoire including the Bas-Sassandra and Haut-Sassandra regions. The Canter-west region is the second highest coffee- producing region in Cote d’ivoire. Sassandra known for the landscape of tropical rainforests, savannas, hills and plateaus has also The Sassandra River flowing through. The CADESA cooperative in the department of Sassandra helps members produce, collect, and market coffee and other agricultural products.
- HAUT-SASSANDRA: A key coffee-producing region in the Centre-West of Côte d'Ivoire. The city of Daloa serves as the capital of the Autonomous District of Sassandra-Marahoué and is located in this area.
- BAS-SASSANDRA: A southern region that produces a significant amount of coffee, though some farms are being converted to other crops like rubber and palm oil.
- GBOKLÉ: A region within the department of Sassandra that has an agricultural cooperative, CADESA, which collects and markets coffee, cocoa, cashews, and rubber from its members.
